Some might never ask.
Others might search your website and come to their own conclusions.
And then there are those who won’t care what the answer is.
As long as you have an answer, an opinion, a perspective, a policy.
Ultimately, that’s what they’re paying your for (along with expertise).
So ask yourself this:
What does my ideal customer expect to hear?
What is the expectation in their industry?
The question is coming, eventually, by someone.
Perhaps it’ll be your ideal, purpose-driven prospect.
Will you have an answer?
What will it convey about you, your firm, your practice, what you value?
There isn’t an all-or-nothing, right-or-wrong answer.
But there NEEDS to be an answer.
Perhaps a nuanced answer.
If you need help wrestling with this question and defining a clear answer – not just for prospective clients, but also for setting expectations across your team – reach out.
This is the work: helping clients stay on message and on brand – on purpose.
It could be the difference between landing the ideal prospect
or never hearing from them.
